I went to Dave's party, knowing very well he was a cannibal.

You went to Dave's party. The ambiance fine and the punch was rather pungent. The house was full of young men and women gyrating their hips to the music. Time stood still though, as you met the girl of your dreams resting by a wooden beam at the base of the stairs. Immediately she caught your silent gaze and returned it with a large childish smile. The smile, of course, pushed you away embarrassed by your brief encounter. The time wasn't right you thought. You simply weren't ready. She sheepishly traveled upstairs. You were disappointed, but curiosity got the best of you. You followed her like a helpless duckling. Out of the corner of the hallway gentle hands brushed up against your chest turning your stomach inside out.

"I got a secret," she muttered in your ear, tugging you along to a darker corner of the hallway.

This was your moment. I am your biggest fan you thought as you were trying to think of a clever line to say.

Just when everything was going swell, Dave popped in, eating a bag of potato chips. "Hey sis. How many guys you sleep with today?"

You nearly faint finding out that Dave was related to the girl of your dreams. This could only mean one thing...

Dave rested his elbow on the wall next to you. "Don't take too long though, I'm getting pretty hungry. Feels like a big knot in my belly."
