General Setting:

Where are we?

We are in an alternate Earth. The times are very much like ours. The world economy is very sluggish. Citizens’ distrust in their government is at an all-time high. Countries around the world are building their armies at an unprecedented rate. Various power struggles are heard of but never seen. Shadow groups and independent militias have gained a very strong grip within our countries. They pay off these governments and political officials to look the other way. Terrorism is now merely a tool to push an agenda. Science and technology has advanced the healthcare of society, but greedy corporations prevent medicine from being used to its full potential. Many groups either contribute to the world’s deteriorating condition and others take it upon themselves to save it. To save mankind. It is still possible to live a normal life here - go to school, find a job, raise a family - but who knows when that temporary peace will end. What will you do when the walls come closing in?

How To Start:

Main story progress will be made when The Architect posts in The Story threads. The first forum is the Prologue forum where we get things together and prepare the story. You will take the character that you have registered in the Visitor/Citizen forum and transfer him or her to this story. You do not have to start out in this world, in fact our characters may never meet. Our collective experience take place in the same universe, but generally, worlds will come together. How or why is up to you and me. Of course, this prologue you should know who your character is and should start brain storming if not already, the future of your characters. Any questions, I am free for some Q&A. Good luck!
